Job summary

ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. is hiring Airport Security Guards at Pittsburgh International Airport. Guards will protect the airport, control access to restricted areas, screen vehicles, perform inspections and patrol premises.

Competitive wages start at $21.50 per hour, with an additional $5.36 per hour for up to 40 hours per week funded by ACTS toward the Local 32BJ benefits fund. Health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacations and holidays are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferable to have at least two years verifiable contract security, military or law enforcement experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to work in the United States.
• Must pass TSA Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Control access to restricted areas and log authorized personnel.
• Screen vehicles and conduct perimeter inspections.
• Patrol airport premises and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and report safety concerns.
• Meet licensing requirements and follow post orders.
