Job summary

ACTS-Aviation Security invites applications for Airport Security Guard at Pittsburgh International Airport. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with additional $5.36 per hour for overtime up to 40 hours weekly, funded by ACTS through Local 32BJ Fringe Benefit Fund including health insurance, training, and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferable to have at least two (2) years verifiable previous contract security, military or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Control access to restricted airport areas and verify authorized individuals.
• Screen and log vehicles, and inspect belongings as needed.
• Monitor security areas and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Provide passenger assistance and support at the airport.
