Job summary

ACTS Airport Services is seeking Aviation Security Officers for the 3rd shift at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The role requires securing restricted areas, screening personnel and vehicles, and responding to incidents. Training and licensing requirements apply, with a wage of $20.00 per hour.

Position includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacations and holidays. Candidates must be at least 21 and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least two (2) years verifiable previous contract security, military or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Control access to restricted areas of airport, only allowing access to authorized individuals.
• Screen and log persons and/or vehicles accessing restricted areas.
• Control access and conduct vehicle inspections at perimeter access points to the Airport’s secured areas.
• Screen employees, vendors, visitors and belongings utilizing x-ray machines, hand wands, and/or magnetometers.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies.
