Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc seeks a Ramp Service Agent to support safe, efficient aircraft turnarounds on the Norfolk ramp. You will load and unload baggage, marshal planes, operate ground equipment, and assist passengers with special needs as needed.

No prior experience is required—training is provided. Dependability, safety-mindedness, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather are essential; strong teamwork and adherence to safety rules are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S.
• No prior experience necessary - we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and co-mail to/from aircraft and baggage area.
• Operate ground service equipment (GSE) safely.
• Marshal aircraft to gates; assist with pushback procedures.
• Provide handling for baggage requiring special care.
• Perform aircraft interior cleaning and lavatory servicing between flights.
• Assist with catering carts and galley supplies in coordination with vendors.
• Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD; report hazards.
• Inspect and maintain ground equipment and report deficiencies.
