Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Agent for Miami International Airport (MIACG1).

The role involves loading/unloading baggage, cargo, and mail, guiding aircraft to gates, and supporting ground operations to ensure safe, efficient airport service. Responsibilities include operating ground service equipment, reading load sheets, marshalling aircraft, and maintaining safety and airline standards, while adapting to changing schedules and prioritites.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for needed aviation credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Airlines operate 24/7; eligible for varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft.
• Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Read and analyze aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Adhere to safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report issues.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
