Job summary

Tucson International Airport (TAA) in Tucson, AZ seeks a Maintenance Landscaper responsible for planting, mowing, irrigation, and grounds upkeep at Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Field (RYN). Works under supervision to ensure safe, compliant operations and responsive customer service.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment care, emergency response, and adherence to FAA/TSA regulations; required licenses, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and ability to work rotating

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe operation of landscape equipment (weed eater, blower, chainsaw, mower, edger).
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and controllers.
• Familiarity with FAA FAR Part 139, Advisory Circulars (AC’s), TSA Regulations and Standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of airfield landscapes and irrigation systems.
• Respond to landscaping emergencies in person, on duty or off duty.
• Maintain the landscape shop and field equipment.
• Read, review and understand technical manuals and safety data sheets.
• Ensure hazardous waste and environmental programs are followed.
• Provide responsive and exceptional customer service.
