Job summary

Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. is seeking an Airports Planning Project Manager to lead master planning and environmental review efforts for airport projects.

The role focuses on Texas pursuits, proposal development, scoping, and contracting, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated airport master planning experience, collaboration with project managers, and the ability to manage workloads across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading master plans for airports (general and commercial).
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary planning teams and manage workloads.
• Mentorship and best-practices for planning teams; track industry guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Master Plans and Environmental Reviews for airport projects from design through construction.
• Pursue TXDOT projects; develop client strategy, proposals, scoping and contracts.
• Mentor less experienced planning staff and share knowledge.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams supporting planning projects.
