Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. seeks an Airports Planner in Austin, TX to join our Airports team. You will support master plans, environmental reviews, and planning efforts across airport projects, coordinating with clients and FAA/DOT staff.

Ideal candidates have experience with aviation planning, collaborative work with project managers, and familiarity with TXDOT relationships. This role is open to Austin residents and offers employee-owned opportunities and strong development paths.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience working with master plans at general aviation and commercial service airports.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with our team of Airport Planning project managers
• Ability to support general aviation project planning for existing clients across multiple geographies
• Experience working with agency staff including the FAA
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in Austin, TX
• Experience with TXDOT projects and relationships with TXDOT staff and TX Airports
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS software

Responsabilidades

• Support creation of Master Plans and Environmental Reviews and provide planning support throughout design and construction of airport projects
• Project communication with airport clients and agency staff including FAA and DOT
• Work alongside talented multi-disciplined teams supporting planning projects
