Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Passenger Assistance at Newark Liberty International Airport. You will lead the Passenger Assistance team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

You’ll manage staffing, coach staff, handle incidents, and uphold high customer service levels. The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities, with a focus on operational excellence in a fast-paced airport

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and make independent decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and obtain security badge.
• Complete training and maintain required certifications.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Wheelchair Services and related duties at the station.
• Coordinate security duties as assigned and ensure safety compliance.
• Establish shift assignments for full-time and part-time staff.
• Coach and develop station team to meet performance and quality standards.
• Schedule and monitor agents to maintain staffing and high service levels.
• Document and address injuries, incidents, and customer service issues.
• Ensure all safety, security and quality procedures are followed.
