Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to assist guests with travel needs and resolve inquiries across baggage, ticketing, check-in and boarding tasks. The role emphasizes welcoming service, accuracy, and flexible scheduling in a fast-paced airport environment.

The position requires customer-service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. A high school diploma is required, with the opportunity to learn a computerized reservation system

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or community service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (inquiries, baggage, ticketing, check-in, boarding).
• Ensure cabin accommodations and orderly boarding.
• Handle mishandled guests due to delays, cancellations, or lost luggage.
• Coordinate seat assignments and respond to upgrades and standby requests.
• Enter and maintain delayed/damaged luggage claims in the system.
• Perform other duties as directed to ensure guest satisfaction.
