Job summary

Spanish Fork City operates the Spanish Fork Municipal Airport and seeks an Airport Operations Specialist to ensure safe and efficient airport operations. Under the Airport Manager and Board, you will conduct routine maintenance, inspections of facilities, systems, and equipment, and ensure compliance with FAA and local regulations.

You will coordinate with the Manager on procedures for emergencies, manage grounds and equipment, support improvements, report on projects, and maintain relations

Qualifications

• Formal or informal training in airport management or related field.
• Experience operating a small or large airport.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain airport premises to regulatory standards.
• Conduct safety and operational inspections of grounds, facilities and fuel systems.
• Assist in emergency procedures and ensure fire suppression systems operable.
• Coordinate with Airport Manager and Board on maintenance and improvements.
• Manage signage, lighting, and navigational aids to keep clear visibility.
• Attend Airport Board meetings and report on projects.
