Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a hands-on Airport Operations Supervisor in Denver to direct station agents across customer service, baggage and ramp functions. The role requires supervising a team, coordinating shifts, and ensuring safety compliance while adapting to weather delays and gate changes.

The ideal candidate has airline operations experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline operations is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess valid US driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including drug screen, FBI background, Customs Seal.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily airport operations, including planning for gate changes, weather delays, crew connections, international arrivals/departures; ensuring rapid response to operational changes.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, provide clear direction to staff, and ensure accurate dissemination of operational information.
• Lead, mentor, and train employees; participate in hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and addressing employee concerns.
• Manage administrative tasks such as shift reports, timecard reviews/corrections, incident reports, and performance documentation.
• Conduct shift briefings, support baggage handling operations, and perform additional duties as assigned.
