Job summary

RICHLAND-LEXINGTON AIRPORT DISTRICT in Cayce, SC, seeks a qualified operations supervisor to manage day-to-day airport facilities in line with FAA and TSA rules. Under direct supervision, you will perform inspections of the airfield, terminal, and other properties, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus four years in a related field; relevant credentials and experience with an FBO or airport operations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with four years in related work.
• Ability to pass Security Threat Assessment (STA) and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
• Experience with Fixed Base Operator (FBO), airline, air cargo carrier, airfield maintenance, or airport emergency services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts scheduled inspections of airfield, terminal building, construction projects, and airport-owned property.
• Ensures compliance with FAA, TSA, state, local, and airport rules and regulations.
• Coordinates airport facilities usage during irregular operations, weather events and special events.
• Provides customer service to tenants and travelers and coordinates NOTAMs as required.
