Augusta–Richmond County is seeking an experienced Airport Operations Supervisor to oversee airside operations, ensuring compliance with FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542, and coordinating with tenants, contractors, and consultants.

You will conduct regular inspections of runways and taxiways, manage wildlife mitigation, review safety plans for projects, and serve as a county representative on construction sites while maintaining radio communications with the Air Traffic Control Tower.

Formación

• Two years of progressively responsible airport operations, security, or safety experience.
• College-level coursework in Aviation Management, Airway Science, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
• Background and security checks required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and coordinate airside operations to ensure FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections of runways, taxiways, safety areas, ramps, and perimeter fence lines.
• Mitigate wildlife hazards and maintain related records and permits.
• Coordinate and monitor construction and maintenance in operational areas; review project safety plans.
• Maintain radio contact with ATC, issue NOTAMs, and represent the airport during projects.
