Job summary

JobAps is seeking an Airport Duty Supervisor to act as the management representative when senior staff are unavailable at Dayton International Airport. You will supervise operations, coordinate regulatory compliance, and ensure safe and secure facilities.

The role requires ensuring knowledge of FAA/TSA regulations, maintaining manuals, and coordinating wildlife control and weather-related operations. Security screenings and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: Associate's degree in a related field to the area of assignment AND 5 years of progressive experience at a Part 139 certificated commercial Airport; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Airport Management, Engineering, or related field AND 1 year of experience in Airport Operations.
• Degree must be from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education through regional associations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Dayton International Airport operations in the absence of other managers.
• Coordinate daily airport and regulatory compliance activities.
• Address customer complaints and resolve problems; maintain safe and secure facilities.
• Read and interpret construction plans and stay current on relevant FAA/TSA regulations.
• Assist in maintaining Airport Certification Manual and Airport Security Program requirements.
• Oversee wildlife control procedures and compliance with Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.
• Monitor airfield conditions and coordinate snow removal operations for runways and ramps.

Education

Associate's degree related field + 5 years progressive experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Airport Management, Engineering, or related field + 1 year experience

Accredited college/university (as per NCAS/HLC or equivalent region)
