Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure daily airport operations run safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You will supervise and coordinate team activities, coach staff, and assist in recruiting and scheduling.

The role emphasizes safety, discipline, and cost-conscious management at the airport. The position requires leadership experience in aviation services, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain necessary credentials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
