Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily airport operations, ensuring safe, efficient service for passengers and airline partners. You will coordinate with security, customer service, and ground handling while maintaining high standards of compliance and operational excellence.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and aviation industry knowledge. Ability to manage emergencies, lead staff, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• 5+ years transportation/aviation operations experience.
• Knowledge of the Aviation Industry.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA/RAIC/TSA credentials as applicable.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day airport operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient and safe procedures.
• Coordinate with departments (security, customer service, maintenance) for seamless operations.
• Respond to and manage operational emergencies and unusual situations.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
• Monitor passenger flow and terminal activities, adjusting for optimal service delivery.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Supervise, guide, and support operational staff with leadership.
• Communicate effectively with airline representatives, ground handlers, and airport authorities.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
