Job summary

CVG Airport is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Airport Operations division, overseeing airside, terminal and landside operations, safety, and compliance programs. You will lead staff, coordinate with FAA requirements, manage contracts, and participate in emergency response planning.

The role requires strong supervisory experience and the ability to respond to incidents and after-hours duties. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in airport operations and 3+ years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years direct experience at a FAR 139 commercial service airport.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable per job duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous safe airfield and terminal operations during routine and emergency conditions.
• Manage staff, delegate work, and review performance; provide coaching and development.
• Maintain Airport Certification Manual and manage FAA Part 139 programs including inspections, signage, lighting, and NOTAMS; lead certification inspections.
• Ensure FAA Part 77 compliance and coordinate obstructions with KCAB and outside contractors.
• Oversee airfield/terminal operations programs including closures, training, inspections, and change requests.
• Develop and maintain the Airport Operations budget and lead contract management per KCAB Policy 1014.
• Represent Airport Operations at incident command posts and emergency operations centers during events.
