Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. seeks a General Manager at our Durango station to lead day-to-day operations, service quality, and financial and team performance. You’ll create a great workplace and a welcoming environment for customers.

You will drive station performance, ensure safety compliance, coach staff, manage budgets and staffing, maintain facilities, and build strong relationships with airport authorities and vendors. A college degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage airport operations independently.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven organizational and planning capabilities.
• Valid US state driver's license required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day station operations and customer service.
• Monitor financial performance and manage the operations budget.
• Lead and coach station staff; ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to professional standards.
• Develop relationships with airport authorities and vendors.
• Ensure shift coverage across all hours, including holidays.
