Job summary

Tailwind Hospitality in Portland, ME is seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee inbound deliveries, inventory distribution, and stocking across airport concession locations. You will coordinate vendor deliveries, manage receiving procedures, and maintain accurate inventory to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced security-sensitive environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, stocking, inventory management, or a related field; food and beverage or airport experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, product rotation, receiving procedures, and food safety practices.
• Experience with inventory management systems, ordering platforms, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify vendor deliveries against POs and invoices.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, dock access, security screening, and receiving procedures with airport personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and monthly inventories, investigate discrepancies.
• Lead, train, and supervise the stocking team, assign duties, and monitor performance.
• Ensure invoices are coded and submitted on time; maintain compliance with safety and security standards.
