Responsibilities

• Assists the Airport Operations Manager in daily oversight of airfield and security operations.
• Provides evidence to the TSA of compliance with TSR 1542.
• Maintains and provides a current list of individuals with authorized unescorted access.
• Provides training through web-based systems and maintains TSR 1542/FAR Part 139 documentation.
• Administers fingerprinting and CHRC process as required by TSR 1542.
• Issues airport identification media and ensures TSR 1542 compliance.
• Participates in airfield facilities inspections to ensure safety, security, and efficiency.
• Monitors terminal and ground transportation operations for compliance with standards.
• Reviews and acts on operational problems affecting safety, security, and coordination with agencies.
• Prepares detailed activity/incident reports and recommends procedures for security and emergency response.
• Performs related work as required.
