Job summary

Daifuku North America in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. The technician will mentor and guide other staff in their duties.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience and the ability to work a non-traditional schedule. Additional skills in HVAC, welding, and advanced computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience required.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer knowledge at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment failures under guidance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior personnel.
