Job summary

FLIK Hospitality Group, a division of Compass Group, seeks an experienced Commissary Cook Supervisor to support the Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This hands-on leadership role oversees high-volume production, batch cooking, and catering while maintaining HACCP compliance and food safety.

The ideal candidate has strong culinary leadership experience, a focus on quality, and the ability to develop a productive team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary leadership or supervisory experience in high-volume settings.
• Experience in commissary kitchen or airport hospitality environments.
• Strong HACCP knowledge and food safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead fast-paced teams in production settings.
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead cooks and production team members during daily operations.
• Oversee high-volume production and batch cooking to support lounge service.
• Prepare, cook, and package menu items per recipes and schedules.
• Train, coach, and mentor culinarians on food safety and quality.
