Job summary

Concessions International is seeking a Cook for Drew Pearson Sports 88 at DFW International Airport. This on-site role supports guest service by preparing and plating food to production standards while maintaining safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include following recipes, managing portions, and ensuring proper temperatures, with attention to cleanliness and teamwork in a high-volume airport environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ months related experience or equivalent.
• Basic food preparation and cooking skills required.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills for measurements and portions.
• Physical ability to stand 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cooks, plates, and follows portion standards for food products.
• Reviews daily pull and prep lists to plan activities.
• Cooks and stores food at required temperatures; labels and rotates products.
• Prepares items from scratch using company recipes.
• Tests foods for proper cooking using taste, smell, or measuring tools.
• Maintains proper cooking temperatures on large equipment.
• Keeps the prep area clean; cleans equipment after use.
• Follows safe food handling and hygiene practices.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to management.
• Performs opening and/or closing side work per checklists.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
