Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a detail‑oriented Airport Credentialing Agent to review badge applications, issue IDs, and maintain credential records. You will handle sensitive PII, conduct background checks, and support the ASP within the Airport Security division.

Qualifications

• Two years of general clerical support experience.
• Knowledge of security requirements for credentialing and access control.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.
• Proficiency with computer and office software.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for ID badges and ensure completeness.
• Issue or renew badges and maintain badge records.
• Transmit biometric data and PII securely for background checks.
• Administer training, track STA/CHRC outcomes, and assist with audits.
• Provide basic training to new staff on front-line processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
