United Ground Express, Inc. is seeking a GSE Maintenance Support Supervisor in Newark, NJ at EWR Liberty International Airport. The role oversees Ground Service Equipment maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and documentation across UGE stations, managing relationships with service providers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of airport operations.
• Prior ground services equipment maintenance experience required.

Responsabilités

• Manage GSE inventory as assigned by ensuring all assets are always entered and accounted for in Fleet Focus.
• Approve or Deny station repair requests based on individual circumstance, situations, and management playbook.
• Maintain a professional relationship with equipment suppliers, GSE maintenance providers, GSE vendors, parts suppliers and logistics companies.
• Provide feedback to station managers and other levels of management on operational, damage, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor status of repairs; order parts and schedule repairs with outside vendors as needed.
• Provide expert GSE maintenance advice and troubleshooting to vendors via phone, email, or in person.
• Receive, review, and enter GSE related invoices in the Fleet Focus system.
• Create weekly and monthly station reports using Fleet Focus for tracking budgets, damages and repairs.
• Assist in periodic and annual GSE inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Facilitate minor facilities maintenance issues as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Requires some travel.
