Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking an Airport Grounds Maintenance Team Lead- Landside to oversee the daily work of the grounds crew at the airport campus. Based in Atlanta, GA, you will manage fleet operations, ensure safety compliance, and support irregular operations.

You will train new staff, enforce Cityworks documentation, and coordinate roadwork, weather events, and special events while maintaining security in SIDA areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and five years related work experience.
• Class A CDL license is required.
• Airport experience and leadership experience preferred.
• Cityworks experience preferred and familiarity with airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates the daily activities of Grounds Maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Oversees daily operation, inspection, and accountability of fleet vehicles and equipment used by Grounds Maintenance personnel.
• Ensures compliance with City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation, OSHA, FAA, and related safety requirements.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documents inspections in designated systems.
• Assists with training for new and less experienced employees.
• Supports airport irregular operations and emergency response activities.
• Maintains equipment and supports special projects such as roadwork and events.
