Job summary

Allegiant is seeking a Ground Operations Agent to handle customer baggage, load/unload, marshal aircraft, and operate ground service equipment. The role includes meeting arriving flights, servicing departures, and assisting customers with special needs.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to read and speak English, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by law.
• Pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and co-mail to/from aircraft and baggage areas.
• Operate ground service equipment (GSE).
• Marshal aircraft to/from gates.
• Provide handling for baggage requiring special care.
• Service aircraft lavatories and perform security searches as required.
• Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD; maintain equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and wear protective gear.
• Operate heavy machinery incl. tugs, tractors, belt loaders, carts, push-back tractors, deicers.
• Communicate via two-way radio; maintain effective verbal and written communication.
• Perform aircraft interior cleaning and stock supplies as needed.
• Inventory tracking and other duties as assigned.
