Job summary

Allegiant in Shreveport seeks a Ground Operations Agent to load/unload baggage, marshal aircraft, and operate ground service equipment. You will also meet arriving flights, service departures, assist customers with special needs, and support customer service agents as needed.

The role requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage to/from aircraft and baggage areas.
• Operate ground service equipment.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates.
• Provide handling for baggage requiring special care.
• Service aircraft lavatories and perform security checks as required.
• Maintain ramp safety and proper operation of equipment.
• Communicate via two-way radio and coordinate with team.
