Job summary

The City of New Orleans is seeking to oversee operations of roadways, terminals, and ground transportation for passengers and airport personnel. You will supervise commercial vehicle operations and traffic control in terminals and on roadways, while monitoring safety and security regulations.

Applicants must be at least 21, hold a High School diploma or GED, have a valid Louisiana driver's license, and possess six months experience in law enforcement or security-related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High School graduation or GED.
• Current valid Louisiana Driver's License.
• Six months of experience in law enforcement, private/public security operations, airport security, or a customer service-related field such as outdoor recreation operations that includes experience with personal computers and two-way radio operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient operations of roadways, terminals, and ground transportation activities for passengers and airport personnel.
• General supervision and oversight of commercial vehicle operations and traffic control in terminals and on roadways.
• Monitor and enforce safety and security regulations and policies.
