Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Equipment Operator to support glycol recovery and processing at the Portland airport campus. You will safely operate related equipment, collect used de-icing fluid, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete required classroom and on-the-job training programs.
• Intermediate computer proficiency (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Read/write/speak English and follow safety rules and manuals.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate glycol recovery and processing equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Collect spent aircraft de-icing fluid with minimal loss or environmental risk.
• Maintain glycol systems for performance and efficiency; document tests.
• Perform quality checks, sampling, testing, and reporting per SOPs.
• Do preventive maintenance including components, valves and sensors replacement.
• Handle truck transfers, load/unload tankers, and move fluids between tanks.
• Support glycol recovery activities and keep equipment in safe, working order.
• Collaborate with airport authorities and contractors while following security procedures.
