Job summary

SIXT at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is seeking a General Manager to own branch operations across key downtown and airport locations and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will manage fleet, drive sales initiatives, budgets, and KPIs, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance and profitability. A BA/BS in Business or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development or customer service.
• Experience in the car rental industry is required.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and operational KPIs with leadership experience in sales operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of designated branches, including downtown and/or airport locations.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with business requirements and enhance operational processes.
• Spearhead revenue growth strategies and optimize incremental sales opportunities.
• Provide strategic oversight of business operations to meet targets and KPIs.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, coaching, and leadership to nurture employee growth.
• Manage budgets, employee reviews, training, schedules, and contract negotiations for optimal efficiency.
