SIXT at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is seeking a General Manager to own branch operations across key downtown and airport locations and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will manage fleet, drive sales initiatives, budgets, and KPIs, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance and profitability. A BA/BS in Business or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development or customer service.
• Experience in the car rental industry is required.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and operational KPIs with leadership experience in sales operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time.

As a General Manager, you take full ownership of our branch operations across key downtown and/or airport locations. You inspire your team, make smart business decisions, and ensure every customer experience is exceptional. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the rental fleet, overseeing sales and performance initiatives, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and driving operational excellence and profitability. In return, you’ll enjoy a competitive base salary of $90,000 per year, an annual target bonus a company car, and exciting opportunities to grow your career with one of the most dynamic brands in the mobility industry.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Experience & Education You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development or customer service. Experience in the car rental industry is required

Organization & Customer Service You demonstrate a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and operational KPIs and successful leadership experience in sales operations driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction

Communication Skills You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Hours & Travel You are able to travel domestically up to 40% of the time to designated locations
