SP+ in Orlando is seeking an Airline Gate Assistant to support passengers at the boarding gate, including wheelchair assistance and isle chair transfer. The role demands a friendly, proactive approach and ability to follow gate instructions and security questions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to clear a background and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300 lbs.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchair passengers down/up jetbridge.
• Ensure wheel brakes are in place before exiting wheelchair.
• Assist passenger with isle chair transfer on the aircraft.
• Complete wheelchair or incident reports as needed.
• Follow dispatcher gate orders and guidance.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and assist passengers with issues or questions.
• Maintain relations with airline staff and airport authorities.
• Exceed customer service standards.
