Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Coordinator to align meal counts with daily flight passenger counts at an airport-based operation in the United States. The role involves coordinating with the onboard service crew to ensure meals and counts are aligned with flight schedules.

Responsibilities include handling calls, maintaining logs, and communicating effectively with supervisors and coworkers. A valid US driver’s license is required, and candidates must be able to work varying shifts, including weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates meal counts with customer counts for each day’s flights.
• Review assigned flights with customers’ onboard service crew; may check flight inside the unit in the field if required.
• Handle calls, keep logs, communicate problems and delays, and complete relevant paperwork.
• Clearly communicate with onboard service staff about flight components, passenger counts, and special meals.
