Rural Metro Fire Rescue is seeking a reserve/part-time Airport Firefighter-EMT/Paramedic for its Sikorsky Aircraft operation in Jupiter, Florida. The hourly position offers $34.83–$37.45, with potential transition to a 24/72 schedule for full-time staff.

Under supervision, you handle fire suppression, aircraft incidents, medical EMS, inspections, and public safety duties, adhering to FAA, NFPA, and company standards while supporting training and customer service initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT/Paramedic certification and NFPA fire certifications.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work various shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Responds to aircraft incidents, fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
• Performs rescue operations for persons endangered by fire or aircraft incidents.
• Participates in fire prevention and safety audits of airside and landside areas.
• Enforces fire codes and airport policies, including permits issuance.
• Conducts inspections of fuel storage areas and fuel service vehicles.
