Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Field Safety Manager for a 6-month assignment at San Francisco International Airport. You will oversee day-to-day field safety on a major terminal modernization project, conduct site observations, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with field crews in a fast-moving construction environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or STS-C.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Current CSP, ASP, CHST, or STS-C designation.
• At least 3 years of hands-on construction safety experience; 5+ preferred.
• Ability to work onsite at SFO Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Knowledge of fall protection and elevated work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated safety oversight for an active commercial construction project at San Francisco International Airport.
• Lead morning safety activities and daily safety observations.
• Conduct field safety audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor fall protection, scissor-lift operations, and related PPE.
• Review safety plans and adapt controls to changing conditions.
• Collaborate with field leaders to determine safe work approaches.
• Maintain strong field presence and enforce safety requirements.
