Job summary

LGSTX is seeking a Property/Facility Mechanic II to perform maintenance and repairs across buildings, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and grounds. You will operate safely, work independently, and assist in electrical servicing of airport facilities at Air Park, including snow removal and seasonal grounds care.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of property/facility maintenance, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• 2–5 years of property/facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building structures, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and light construction across facilities and grounds.
• Conduct preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Inspect property for safety, security, and upkeep; apply safety-conscious practices.
• Assist in electrical servicing of airport facilities and grounds maintenance including mowing and snow removal.
• Conduct snow plowing, shoveling, and salting of parking lots and sidewalks.
• Apply pesticides/herbicides with proper protective equipment when needed.
