Job summary

The Airport Authority is seeking a skilled Airport Maintenance Technician for Terminal facilities to perform mechanical inspections, troubleshoot and repair advanced systems including passenger boarding bridges, baggage belts, motors, doors, pumps and building electro-mechanical systems. The role also covers snow operations and general facilities tasks.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in trouble shooting and repair of motor controls, conveyor systems, lighting, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as chain-driven drives, motors, and control board wiring.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Must pass comprehensive background and Criminal History Records check and be able to obtain security credentials.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair passenger boarding bridges.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair baggage belts, including motors and drive chains.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead doors and related components.
• Perform snow removal operations and general facilities maintenance as needed.
