Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of motor controls, conveyor systems, lighting, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as chain-driven drives, motors, and control board wiring.
• Experience with electronics (preferred, not required).
• Experience with electrical programming (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair passenger boarding bridges and baggage belts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead doors, motors and drive chains.
• Maintain records and completes work orders; identify replacement parts from manuals and schematics.
• Perform diagnostics and determine parts, materials and equipment needed.
• Direct work of assistants and supervise on-site tasks as needed.
• Drive Authority vehicles on airport grounds and follow radio directions.
• Assist in snow removal operations and inclement weather preparedness.
• Report progress and updates to supervision; support safety and quality standards.
