Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech Airport Services, located at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), seeks a Machine Repair Technician 2 to diagnose, repair, and maintain baggage conveyors and related controls systems. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and the ability to operate various on-site equipment.

Responsibilities include inputting maintenance data into CMMS, handling emergency repairs, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain baggage conveyor and controls systems.
• Input maintenance data into CMMS system.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of conveyer and control systems.
• Drive and operate equipment such as golf cart, company vehicles, forklift, etc.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Input all work orders into the CMMS system and complete PMs/CMs logs.
• Support operations by clearing bag jams on the system.
• Comply with the company safety program.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
