Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gate equipment and related machinery on airport ramps. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read manufacturer instructions, and document work in CMMS.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 2+ years of maintenance experience, with the ability to work day or night shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Valid Driver License.
• 2+ years’ experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance operations.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions for repair/maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLC control systems a plus.
• Airport operations familiarity a plus.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as passenger loading bridges and gate services.
• Observe devices in operation to locate and diagnose trouble.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace as needed.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Install parts and adjust devices and control instruments.
• Start devices to test performance and perform lubrication and cleaning.
• Maintenance reporting and record-keeping in CMMS.
• Possible 24-hour emergency response availability.
