Job summary

City of Cleveland seeks an Airport Engineering & Construction Project Coordinator to plan, administer, and supervise a major airport project. You will oversee budgets, contracts, and procurement, coordinating with city departments and external partners to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

The role requires a technical understanding of engineering/construction processes, strong documentation, and effective communication with officials and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in program administration required.
• Must be able to lift and carry thirty (30) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend design and construction contracts to properly manage and administer them through the life of a project.
• Manage project funds and bonds, ensuring federal, state and local requirements are met.
• Manage grants for projects in compliance with funding source requirements.
• Coordinate procurement process for design and construction projects including preparation of legislation requests, RFIs/RFQs, bid specs and drawings.
• Prepare and review complex technical plans, designs, permits, forms, reports, contracts, specs, submittals, pay applications, change orders, and related documentation.
• Facilitate design and construction coordination meetings and report progress to airport leadership and stakeholders.
