Job summary

Cleveland Construction in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a motivated project coordinator to assist project teams on commercial projects from kickoff to closeout. You will support project managers and superintendents, coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field staff, and help track schedules, budgets, and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor’s degree or are upcoming graduates, with 0–3 years in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or related field (or upcoming graduate).
• 0–3 years of commercial construction experience, including internships or co-ops.
• Strong interest in a career in commercial construction project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Travel may be required depending on project assignment.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the execution of commercial construction projects.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Help track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and project progress.
• Participate in project meetings and support project reporting and communication.
