The City of Amarillo seeks an Airport Engineer for Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport to oversee development, rehabilitation, and compliance with FAA and local standards. You will coordinate with external engineering firms and City departments, provide CAD drawings, cost estimates, and master planning input.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree, a Texas license, and experience with CAD/GIS.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Texas engineering credentials/license required or preferred.
• AA AE/CAD experience and GIS/mapping software knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and oversees airport development and major repair/rehab projects.
• Ensures compliance with FAA/State/Local standards and regulations.
• Oversees external engineering firms and prepares independent cost estimates.
• Manages technical and financial aspects of airport projects and coordinates with agencies.
• Produces reports, CAD drawings, and presentations; assists with master planning and mapping.
