City of Amarillo's Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport seeks an Airport Engineer to help mold the future of the airport and surrounding community by ensuring compliance with regulations and planning projects. You will oversee on-airport projects and coordinate with external engineering firms.
Responsibilities include managing civil/structural engineering, cost estimates, grant applications, and coordination with FAA and state agencies, while delivering reports and presentations to
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with five years' airport experience.
- Intermediate or advanced CAD software proficiency.
- AAAE certification preferred; GIS/mapping experience a plus.
- Texas engineering credentials/license and TSA background check required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and ability to obtain airport access credentials.
Responsabilidades
- Plans and oversees airport development and major repair projects.
- Ensures compliance with FAA/State/Local standards and regs.
- Oversees external engineering firms and prepares fee estimates.
- Manages technical and financial aspects of airport projects.
- Coordinates with federal, state, local agencies and City departments.
