Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard with driving duties to patrol airport facilities and surrounding areas in Southern California. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain clear communications with supervisors and clients.

Requirements include a neat appearance, ability to pass background checks and MVR driving checks, and a customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity.
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including airport facilities, perimeter, runways, airplane parking areas, and hangars.
• Perform routine air traffic control (ATC) after regular airport operation hours.
• Conduct runway sweeps, clear airplane taxi areas of debris, and verify proper operation of airport safety equipment, including runway lights.
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions.
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures.
