Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking a professional Unarmed Security Guard – Driving for patrols in Southern California. The role emphasizes a customer-service mindset, a neat appearance, and the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents.

The position includes driving a company patrol vehicle, maintaining logs, and coordinating with clients and responders. Shifts include day, swing, and grave periods with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity.
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including maintenance equipment storage yards.
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a secure environment.
