Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard to protect clients, employees, and property in the Southern California region. The role emphasizes professional customer service, a neat appearance, and the ability to conduct routine patrols and monitor access points.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, protecting premises, coordinating with authorities, and maintaining clear logs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine patrols of the assigned area including of public social services facility and surrounding parking lot
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures
