Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional unarmed security guards for airport patrol driving positions in Pacoima, delivering visible security, patrols, and incident reporting to protect clients, employees, visitors, and property.

You will drive a company patrol vehicle, monitor access points, coordinate with law enforcement when needed, and complete accurate reports while maintaining a neat, professional appearance and adherence to client requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Able to pass background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Able to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
• Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including of aiport facilities, perimeter, runways, airplane parking areas, and hangars
• Perform routine air traffic control (ATC) after regular airport operation hours
• Conduct runway sweeps, clear airplane taxi areas of debris, and verify proper operation of airport safety equipment, including runway lights
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions

License & Certification Requirements

• Pepper Spray Certification

Additional Preferred Skills
